Things to do while you are here

Cambridge truly offers something for everyone and is well known for the number of antique shops and galleries and of course the many world acclaimed Stud Farms. Walk, jog or run around town or via the Te Awa River Trail to Avantidrome and back.
Not far away is Lake Karapiro being the pride of New Zealand's rowers, offering an international class watersports venue 7.7 square kilometres of flat water for picnickers, canoeists, water-skiers, yachts and of course rowers.
The scenery in the Waikato region is simply stunning. Above ground there is the Waikato River, Hamilton Gardens and Matamata. To witness the limestone grottos you need to head underground to a subterranean wonderland, Waitomo Caves, where you can go caving.
